DSGMC President meets Union Home Minister to discusses key issues concerning Sikh Community

New Delhi -Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka today met here Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and held detailed discussions on matters concerning the sikh community in Delhi and various issues of importance to the Sikh Panth.

During the meeting, Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka apprised the Union Home Minister of matters relating to the welfare of the sikh community, the functioning and development of religious and cultural institutions under the management of the DSGMC, and other issues of significance concerning the Sikh community.

Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka said that the DSGMC is committed to strengthening its service-oriented initiatives and ensuring that the Sangat continues to benefit from quality education, healthcare, religious services and other welfare activities being undertaken by the Committee.

He further emphasized that the DSGMC would continue to engage constructively with the union government and other concerned authorities to address issues affecting the sikh community and to safeguard and promote its religious, cultural and educational institutions.

Sardar Kalka said that the DSGMC would continue to work with dedication and sincerity for the welfare of the Sangat and remain committed to strengthening the institutions entrusted to its care while upholding the rich heritage, values and traditions of the sikh panth.
